The hands & mind behind The Bare Kitchen

Hi, I'm Alex, founder of The Bare Kitchen.

Food, movement and wellbeing have been part of my life for years — not through perfect routines or restrictive diets, but through curiosity and learning what genuinely makes me feel good.

My approach to food has always been simple:

Fresh ingredients. Uncomplicated meals. Food I genuinely enjoy eating.

I've spent years reading, learning, experimenting in the kitchen and exploring the connection between what we eat, how we move and how we feel.

And the more I've learned, the more I've come back to the same idea: eating well doesn't need to be complicated.

For me, it's about enjoying your food, nourishing your body and creating habits that work with your life rather than against it.

Because eating well isn't about following a perfect diet. It's about supporting the quality of life you want to have.

Making the better choice easier

One thing I've learned is that consistency rarely comes from having more discipline.

It comes from making the better choice easier.

That's why I believe so much in preparation and simplicity.

When good food is already there, ready for you, eating the way you want to eat becomes part of everyday life rather than another task requiring time, energy and decisions.

And that's exactly what I want The Bare Kitchen to give people.

Not another diet.
Not another set of rules.
Not someone telling you what you should eat.

A way of making the way you want to eat actually work in your life.

Because it's personal

Inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your food is personal. I don't take that lightly.

When I'm in your kitchen, I treat your home, your food and your preferences with the same care and respect I would expect in my own.

I want to understand what you genuinely enjoy eating, what you don't, how your week works and what would make your life easier.

Because there is no one-size-fits-all way to eat.

Your tastes. Your routine. Your kitchen. Your life.

My job is simply to bring it all together.

For me, The Bare Kitchen comes down to something very simple:

Eat food you enjoy.
Keep it simple.
Nourish your body.
Make it work for your life.
